Kosovo Red is a beautiful heirloom tomato variety, known for its large heart-shaped fruits, meaty texture, and rich, balanced flavour. It typically produces substantial tomatoes around 300–500 g, making it a rewarding choice for growers who enjoy larger-fruited varieties with real homegrown character.
The fruits have pink skin, sometimes with soft yellow shoulders, and a full-bodied flesh that works beautifully fresh or in simple home cooking. It’s the kind of tomato that feels both generous and satisfying to grow, especially if you enjoy classic heart-shaped types.
Plants are vigorous, productive, and continue to set fruit steadily through the season. Despite the size of the fruits, Kosovo Red is relatively early and reliable, making it a strong choice for home growers who want flavour, size, and dependable garden performance.
