Casanova is a highly productive heirloom tomato variety, known for its unusual long red fruits with a distinctive split tip. It’s one of those varieties that instantly stands out — both for its appearance and for how heavily the plants can crop through the season.
The fruits are dense, meaty and naturally sweet, with very few seeds and a firm texture that makes them especially versatile in the kitchen. They work well fresh, but this variety really shines for pickling, preserving, and other homemade preparations where a firmer flesh is preferred.
Plants are tall, vigorous and rewarding to grow, producing plenty of uniform fruits with strong keeping quality after harvest. A great choice for growers who want something productive, practical, and a little different from the usual tomato varieties.
